Welcome to the Meross compatibility checker. Let us help you determine whether the thermostat is compatible with your system.

Remove the faceplate of your existing thermostat.

Turn off power at the main switch or circuit breaker that controls your system. Then carefully remove your existing thermostat faceplate. Some faceplates pop off, while others need to be unscrewed.

Check the wires connected to your thermostat.

Check whether the wires connected to your thermostat are thin or thick. Thick wire usually consist of multiple wires. Thick wires usually connected with wire nuts.

Check the labels on your thermostat.

Do you have one or two rows of labels on your thermostat terminals?

Do you have a Conventional or Heat Pump system?

If you're not sure, check the color of the wire connected to the W and O/B terminal. If it's white, it should be a conventional system, and if it's orange, dark blue, or some other color, you may have a heat pump system.

Identify the terminals with wires connected.

It works!

This thermostat is compatible with your system.

NOT Compatible

This thermostat is not compatible with your system.

It works, but a C Wire Adapter is required.

This thermostat is compatible with your system. An additional C Wire Adapter is required (sold separately).

Further inspection required.
