Important Tips before you start the troubleshooting:
Please upgrade your eero OS to v6.13.3-11 or higher to eliminate any unexpected issues.
Two situations on the eero router may cause the HomeKit product configuration to fail:
1. The 5GHz band is turned on. You can refer to this link(How Do I Temporarily Hide the 5GHz Band on My eero Network?) to temporarily turn off 5G.
2. The WPA3 option and the HomeKit Security(enabled eero router with HomeKit) are turned on at the same time.
If 5GHz band is not your case, then the most simple way to make the product work is to disable WPA3 in Discover/eero Labs settings of eero app.
If you want to keep WPA3 settings, please disable HomeKit in Discover/Apple HomeKit settings of eero app.
If you want to keep both WPA3 & enable HomeKit security function, you need to upgrade the firmware to the latest version. If you are still unable to configure successfully after the upgrade, please contact us here, and we will provide you with a suitable solution.
