How to set up Matter device with Amazon Alexa? 

1. Open the Alexa app and go to the Devices page. Tap the + button.

2.  Select "Other" from the list of device types, and choose "Matter"

3.  Either scan the QR code or manually enter the code.

How to set Matter device with Google Home? 

Note: If you use a Google Pixel phone, you can also refer <I have a Google Pixel phone, how to set up the Matter device?>.

1. Open the Google Home app and tap the "+" button located on the home page. Next, select "New device".

2. Select "Matter-enabled device" and either scan the code or manually enter it to proceed.

3. Agree to add the device to your Google Account, ensure that you have a Matter-enabled hub configured.

I have a Google Pixel phone, how to set up the Matter device?

Google Pixel phones seamlessly integrate with Matter-enabled devices. When setting up a new Matter device for the first time, your Pixel phone will automatically prompt a pairing request, allowing you to easily connect the device to other ecosystems. If you prefer not to receive this prompt, simply click "Not now".

How to set Matter device with Apple HomeKit? 

1. Open the Apple Home app, tap “add accessory”, scan the Matter code or manually input it.

How to set up Matter device with Samsung SmartThings? 

1. Ensure that you have a configured SmartThings hub and tap the "+" icon on the home page. 

2. Scan the QR code.

3. Select your hub to add the Matter device and tap "Next".

4. For iOS users, the device will be added to iCloud automatically.

5. Add the plug to your SmartThings account. If you still have problems, tap here for more solutions.

How to set up Matter device with the Meross app? 

Please upgrade your Meross app first. Then, on the home page, tap the "+" button, select your Matter device, and follow the in-app wizard to complete the setup process.

Note:

If you are an iOS user, the Meross app will guide you to add the device to Apple Home first. The device will then be automatically added to the Meross app.

Similarly, if you are an Android user, the Meross app will direct you to add the device to Google Home first, and it will be added to the Meross app automatically.

Later in 2023, the Meross app will offer various ecosystem options for users to choose from during setup.
