Two Important Tips:

1. Creating a new home in the Home app can greatly help set up the HomeKit accessory, click here for more instructions.

If you don't use the Home app, please click here for instructions to add the device to the Meross app.

 

General troubleshooting(Can solve 95% pair failure cases):

a. Reboot your iPhone/iPad to clear the Apple Home app’s cache.

b. Follow the user manual to reset the accessory.

c. Power cycle the accessory. For the light switch, please reboot it at the circuit breaker.

d. Ensure that you have a dedicated 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, or do not use the same Wi-Fi name for your 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks until the setup is successful.

e. Configure the accessory again.

 

If you still have issue, please find the Error Code and corresponding instructions below:

 

1. Error Code: "Accessory Not Found. Make sure your accessory is powered on and...", "Unknown Error", or "Accessory is not reachable"

2. Error Code: "Unable to Add Accessory. Connect to a 2.4GHz WLAN network and try again"

3. Error Code: "Security check failed..." or "To add this accessory to your home, connect your iPhone to your HomeKit enabled router..."

4. Error Code: "Setup code is incorrect"

5. Error Code: "Operation timed out"

6. Error Code: "Uncertified Accessory" or "Cannot be used with HomeKit" 

This could be a glitch from cloud server of Apple. Please wait for 1~2 hours and retry again.
